Samm Yu (he/they/他) is a portrait photographer in Minneapolis, MN.
Yu's photography is published in Iowa Public Radio, Des Moines Register, The Daily Iowan, and Little Village Magazine. He was selected for the 80/35 Music Festival 2022 Photography Fellowship and photographed the 2023 Mission Creek Literary and Music Festival in Iowa City, IA. Samm Yu's first independent publication 'craving community' was published by Astringent Press in October 2023.
